“It seems to me that the natural world is the greatest source of excitement; the greatest source of visual beauty; the greatest source of intellectual interest. It is the greatest source of so much in life that makes life worth living.”
BIO
Hello! I'm Jen. I've been interested in wildlife, especially marine species, since I can remember; I grew up on the beautiful coast of South Devon, England and have spent most of my life drawing animals, writing about animals, and talking about animals. After earning a bachelor's degree in Media Arts at Plymouth University I pursued a career that blended my love of communication with my passion for wildlife, and became a presenter at the UK's only coastal zoo.
In the years that followed I moved to the southeastern United States and continued working as an environmental educator and training specialist at one of the world's largest aquariums. In late 2016 I ventured into the world of UX and now use my visual design skills and empathy to create meaningful experiences through technology.
Through my art I hope to spark your curiosity about the animals with which we live. Nature is a constant inspiration for me and I love to share my favourite species with others; I encourage you to get to know your wild neighbours too.
